so i applied ADC on my campus ( Taa- Daa now im a new college Student everybody, welcome me!) ADC is a debating club. and in my selection to be a member i have to write a essay about corruption. I know my essay is not good but this is it and all i got. actually i have so many thought but i can not go well in english and the essay became suck. oh and i put some what can we do from ACT against corruption. visitwww.actagainstcorruption.org ! international anti-corruption day is 9 December! marks your calender now to remind everybody how corruption endangers our morals.  hehehe

 I believe that all of you know and have heard about corruption. Corruption came from a latin word “corruptio” which means rotten, spoiled. Generally the definition of corruption is the misuse of entrusted power for personal benefit. The corruptor took someone else’s rights (something that actually does not belong to them) only for their benefit. So far, many of corruption issues related on political issue. Then corruption has been the biggest evil in our society.

            I will give you an illustration. Your mother told you to bring a lunch box your sister who forgot to bring her lunch box, but on the way school you ate your lunch box and her lunch box. Your sister then eats nothing at all. Is that corruption? Now imagine that lunch box was money which is allocated to public sector.  Many governors abandoned their responsibility because of their greed. Corruption it is not only about taking what is not mine. Many cases have shown that bribery is one of corruption too. Bribery as long as disadvantages other person called corruption. Sadly in this century people have grown insatiable appetite for money. This type of people will do anything to get more income (cash). In spite of the constant promises and talks about the importance of the value-based life, the outside show of being influenced by corruption goes on. I think that corruption is a passive killer. Corruptor does not kill you directly but they all took your rights and everything so they are a passive killer.

            I think that we should fight against corruption because corruption makes hunger, growth of poverty, endangers morals, and disadvantages the others. It can be only possible if people can understand and start to believe the values of ethics and morality in their life. In my opinion integrity is the key about how to minimize the corruption. Integrity is the key of living as human. Having integrity means doing the right thing in a reliable way.  Say no to what is not right. Integrity is like commitment to do what is right. Everything is start from ourselves. For example, we can refuse to participate in any activities that are considered bribery, not cheating during the test. Engage the youth of our country about what ethical behavior. I hope government soon makes a tough sanction for those who did corruption.

            Last, I want to share a quote from Karl Kraus. Karl Kraus was an Austrian writer and journalist. “Corruption is worse than prostitution. The latter might endanger the morals if an individual, the former invariably endangers the morals of the entire country.”

Gue dibawa pertamakali Creambath seinget gue waktu gue 1 SMP dan itu dikarenakan sepupu cewe gue pusing ngeliat rambut gue yang “katanya kaya singa” (bilang aja mau di temenin nyalon).hal yang dilakukan pertama kalipada umumnya membuat kita norak , dan bener aja gue norak saat pertama kali gue Creambath. Gue cekakak-kikikan sendirian saat mas mas banci mijit – mijit kepala gue , saking noraknya gue spontan kaget saat mas mas banci itu mau mijit bahu. Dan bukan itu aja , saat dia Tanya gue mau cream apa dia ngasih gue pilihan cream lidah buaya , gingseng , telor  , kiwi , strawberry sama menthol .sepupu gue ambil cream strawberry dan gue piker itu biasa aja . gue nanya ke mas banci itu supaya ngasih gue cream mencegah rambut rontok akhirnya ma situ nyaranin gue ngambil cream gingseng. Setelah sadar baunya mirip banget sama bau emak – emak  yang lagi creambathan di samping gue. Nengok ke sepupu gue yang wangi strawberry yang bikin lebih kelihatan muda.

Sejak saat  itu gue pun jadi demen di creambath.  Gue ngebandingin rambut sepupu gue yang terhelai cantik dan rapih , sedangkan rambut gue udah kaya  gumpalan benang kusut. Dan gue bertekad mulai merawat rambut gue dengan creambathan (gak tau ngaruh atau enggak) sampai sampai Gue kadang kadang creambathan sendiri di salon. Gue bahkan minta dipijit dari kepala sampai ke bahubahunya. Hal ini yang bikin gue makin konsumtif ngabisin uang bokap gue buat creambathan . tapi seiringwaktu berbagai inovasi muncul. Sekarang muncul cream buat creambath yang di jual di toko – toko terdekat. Bahkan daripada creambathan di salon kita bisa menemukan cara creambathan dengan alternative lebih murah.cream yang dijual sekitar Rp10.000 sedangkan kalo di salon sekitar 35.000  belon lagi nambahin uang tip buat yang layanin kita dan belum tentu enak atau gak. Gue pun membeli cream itu dan kadang kadang gue creambathan sendiri di rumah. Senangnyaa rambut gue wangi kiwi dan madu(ceritanya wangi favorit).

Ini bukan ending cerita. Kebetulan pas bokap dan oma gue mau pergi ke supermarket , gue pun nitip bokap dan oma gue yang mau berbelanja cream untuk creambath aroma kiwi . Gue bilang warna bungkusnya hijau. Pas  oma gue pulang dia beli banyakkkkk banget. Karena males taruh di tempat khusus lemari perlengkapan mandi gue taruh di meja makan pojok paling kiri. ( gue males karena gue baru saja menyelesaikan ulangan umun saat itu). Gue memutuskan bermain badminton  sama Anne Rosyita Liduianto. Pulang pulang gue seneng karena udah main badminton dan berhasil ngalahin Anne. Gue langsung ke meja makan tempat gue meletakan Cream kiwi gue dan bergegas mandi. Gue bingung semua cream kiwi yang oma gue beliin ngilang. Gue cari cari dan gue ngengok ke tempat sampah. Semua bungkusnya ada di sana. Dan setelah gue nengok ken wastafel tempat nyuci piring ada cream hijau hijau aroma kiwi di sebelah spons cuci piring . Dan gue bener bener gak percaya apa yang gue lihat. “EMBAK gue pake cream  untuk creambath aroma Kiwi gue semuanya buat nyuci piring!!!”  cream itu bikin piring gue menunda penuaan, memperkuat selnya dan mencegah piring rontok. Gue speechless DAN gue bener bener mau ngomel ngomel sama mbak gue.  Seenggaknya dia baca gitu ada tulisan FOR HAIR-nya . pas makan malem pun gue jadi ga niat. Semua hidangan jadi berbau kiwi dan otomatis malam itu gue ngedumel sama bokap gue karena kebegoan dia. Tapi besoknya gue udah lupa. Gue kembali tertawa dan menceritakan kejadian konyol ini sama temen temen gue.

Pesan Moral : jangan menunda setiap pekerjaan. Gue menunda untuk menaruh cream di lemari perlengkapan mandi gue taruh cream itu di meja makan dekat wastafel cuci piring.  Alhasil semua cream untuk creambath gue ludes dipake buat nyuci piring.
